A new Laboratory for physicochemical processes has been created in the Department of Heterocyclic Compounds Chemistry of State Scientific Institution “Institute for Single Crystals”.
The main topic of activity of the Laboratory is a study of fundamental and applied aspects of chemical and physicochemical processes under non-classical conditions, including microwave and ultrasonic irradiations.

The Laboratory's research is dadicated to the following principal problems:

• microwave – matter interaction and physicochemical processes under non-classical conditions;
• organic and inorganic reactions under non-classical conditions;
• non-classical energy sources in technology and industrial equipment

The staff of the new multidisciplinary laboratory consists of high-skilled chemists, physics, material scientists and developers.
