General MW Chemistry – Biotage Emrys Creator EXP is a single mode MW reactor. The system is used for the efficient optimization of reaction conditions using microwave synthesis (sealed vessels, processing volume 0.5 - 20 mL, max pressure 20 bar, IR temperature sensor).
Batch Scale-Up and Autoclave Reactions – CEM MARS multimode MW reactor (1600 W) is dedicated for parallel reactions and batch scale-up (fiber-optic and IR temperature measurement). The MARS System can be configured for organic and inorganic synthesis with a variety of vessel choices and turntable options. Both open and closed vessel reactions can be run in this multimode system. Special vessel rotors Xp-1500 plus provide additional options for increased temperatures or pressures.
Pilot Multimode Microwave Reactor Mini-Saki – The experimental microwave multimode laboratory device which was created by team of Microwavetec. It has the variety of applications due to the universality of its technical features. The main characteristics of Mini-Saki:
- The capacity of vacuum multimode MW resonator – 35 L;
- MW power input – 100-500 W;
- Working temperature range – 20 - 500 °C (IR temperature sensor);
- Working pressure range – 15-760 Torr;
- Maximal loading – 10 L.
Mini-Saki is dedicated for the laboratory scale investigations dealing with organic and inorganic chemistry, evaporation of aqueous and organic solutions, drying of substances and materials for different purposes, including active pharmaceutical ingredients, medicinal herbs, fruits, berries grains, highly porous materials etc. The device is equipped with vacuum system allowing processing of thermo, air and moisture sensitive substances under very delicate conditions. The plant has also been successfully utilized and performed good results in the researches on MW pasteurization and sterilization of foods.
